The extension of Software Support (SSP) for OpenScape Business V3 systems with V2 mainboard is possible until 31.12.2026 at the latest, as described in the sales information.

In some cases, it is therefore not possible to activate OpenScape Business V3 systems (with V2 mainboard) with 5-year SSP base licenses or to extend a system with further Software Support Renewal licenses beyond 2026.

The software support period beyond 31.12.2026 can now already be extended for OpenScape Business V3 systems with V2 mainboard on the license server due to a new CLS function, but will only become active after upgrading to a V3 mainboard. 

Due to the new function the SSP information have been enhanced:

• For OpenScape Business V3 (X3, X5, X8) systems with V2 mainboard, the CLS shows the expiration date of the software support in the feature details as usual (until 31.12.2026 at the latest)
• A second expiration date displays the SSP expansion date for an OpenScape Business V3 mainboard (SSP-Expansion Date for V3-Mainboard). After upgrading to a V3 mainboard on the CLS (as described in the OpenScape Business sales information), the adjustment and display is made to the new SSP expiration date

Please note:

• For OpenScape Business S systems, a software upgrade to V3 is required to extend SSP until 31.12.2030.
• For OpenScape Business V3 X1 systems, the maximum software support extension is still possible on the CLS until 31.12.2026
