Building on the proven success of the OpenScape Business X1R Basic Mainboard, the new X1R with Advanced Mainboard will be available starting November 2025. This model delivers expanded capacity, enhanced performance, and additional functionality. 

With this release, we are addressing the needs of our sales partners—offering new business opportunities beyond the integrated Contact Center, particularly in the growing area of Hybrid Cloud. 

The SSD memory card (M2.SATA with system SW) is already preinstalled.  

As already known from the X1R, the new model variant with the advanced mainboard also features a slim design with a low installation depth, specially tailored to customers with smaller 19" rack systems. The system offers 4 a/b and 8 UP0 interfaces for connecting analog, TDM, and DECT terminals, but no ISDN S0 interfaces. 

Advantages of the model variant with the advanced mainboard 

Small, smart, and powerful. Thanks to the high-performance advanced mainboard, the X1R offers additional and expanded capacity benefits and functionalities compared to the basic mainboard variants, including in the area of SIP trunks (up to 120), UC users (up to 500), UC Entry / Unify Phone users (up to 500), contact centers (up to 192 agents/64 parallel), and the connection of external databases (SQL, etc.). 

With the Advanced Mainboard variant, we are further strengthening our hybrid cloud approach.   

The metal brackets included in the scope of delivery can be used for both 19" rack mounting and wall mounting of the X1R.
