The global market for memory modules is currently extremely volatile, characterised by sharp price increases and limited availability of relevant components. To ensure delivery capability, Mitel must therefore certify and approve new memory modules for Mitel OpenScape Business at very short notice.

As part of the product lifecycle process for Mitel OpenScape Business, we are adapting to market conditions as described above and regularly certifying new M2.SSD cards for the system software. This also allows us to respond more flexibly to supply bottlenecks from individual manufacturers.

This can lead to dependencies in connection with the output status of a V3 motherboard, as described below.

Depending on stock availability, we currently supply the 128GB SATA M2.SSD from Transcend (Mitel part number: 51311522 OSBiz System SW on M.2 SSD) as the boot medium.

This card can be used for V3 motherboards with the following output statuses/serial numbers:

For the use of SSD cards from the motherboard revision levels listed above, the following software requirements apply:

Using software older than V3R4.3.0_720 on the motherboard revisions listed above may result in boot problems.

Only if older V3 motherboard variants are to be put into operation, or if M2.SSD cards from existing systems need to be replaced, please use the spare parts order process.

Only when ordering spare parts by contacting the BusinessCom Service Desk and creating a ticket can it be guaranteed that the following card will be delivered instead of the Transcend M2.SSD 128GB:
