In order to further simplify the licensing of OpenScape Business, Mitel has decided to offer only the OpenScape Business UC Classic User licence from 7 April 2025.

This new licence will replace the currently available licences as of 7 April 2025:

- OpenScape Business UC User

- OpenScape Business UC Groupware User

The new OpenScape Business UC Classic User licence can be used in the same way as the previous OpenScape Business UC Groupware User licence and can be used to activate either the OpenScape Business UC User or the OpenScape Business UC Groupware User licences. The client to be used can still be selected as usual in the OpenScape Business Admin Tool.

Licences already purchased for

- OpenScape Business UC User

- OpenScape Business UC Groupware User

licences remain valid and can still be activated in the CLS.
