Improvement of PCM Reporting for Mitel hUnify Portfolio
Background:
- PCM (Partner Contract Manager) combines information from various databases about SSP contracts and expiration dates
- CLS (Customer Licensing System) is a key data source
- Partners use PCM reports to monitor SSP of different customer systems
Current issue:
- Systems cannot be removed from PCM
- All systems ever installed and licensed remain visible, even if no longer in use
New solution:
- Identify systems no longer in use
- Mark these systems in PCM (Sales Opportunities) as "dismantled"
- Export the list and compare with expiration dates for better overview
Future plan (not yet implemented):
- Send the PCM export file to CLS support with a ticket
- CLS support will remove the systems from the partner CLS account
- This will prevent these systems from being counted as 'dormant systems' of the partner
Benefits:
- Improved insight into active systems
- More efficient follow-up of SSP contracts
- More accurate reporting for partners
