Transition from System SATA SSD to M.2 Data SSD for OpenScape Business System Software
The execution of the OpenScape Business System software has recently undergone a significant hardware change. Previously, the system was deployed on a 16 GB small-format M.2 SATA SSD. This storage medium has now been replaced by a large M.2 Sata SSD card, providing enhanced performance and a modernized hardware foundation.
The new large M.2 Sata SSD is delivered by Mitel preloaded with the OpenScape Business (Osbiz) system software. However, administrators also have the flexibility to write the Osbiz software themselves onto the NVMe SSD using the Mitel Unify CardManager tool. This ensures that both factory-prepared and self-prepared options are available, depending on deployment requirements.
